Introduction to RugbySafe

RugbySafe, supported by Simplyhealth, is the RFU’s overarching player safety and wellbeing programme, putting player welfare at the heart of the game and covering how the game should be organised and managed to provide a safe and enjoyable playing environment. Within the RugbySafe ‘umbrella’ there are a number of different initiatives and programmes, all of which play a part in improving and developing awareness of player welfare.
